Mikekipling.com is developed exclusively for Mike Kipling by Rock Lobster at Bombshell Design. It is coded entirely by hand on
Apple Macintosh equipment using XCode 2 with MAMP by Living-e driving the local PHP/SQL server.
Hiveware enkoder used to protect email addresses written by Automatic Labs.
The final product is served from a Linux server running Apache with a PHP preprocessor and a MySQL backend database.

The site is tested on:
- Windows 98 and XP using:
- Internet Explorer 6 (Win98)
- Maxathon (Win98)
- Netscape 7 (Win98)
- Netscape 8 (Win98)
- Firefox 1.5 (Win98)
- Firefox 2 (Win98)
- Internet Explorer 7 (Win XP)
- Firefox 2 (Win XP)
- Mac OS X using:
*Firefox (Mac) has issues with the elevator toolbars - this is due to the Firefox "chrome" simulating OS X. The workaround is to refresh the page or use the mousewheel as appropriate.
Although the code is standards compliant, a great deal of work has been done to make it work on less than compliant browsers: Internet Explorer 6 in particular. Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh is far too broken and outdated to display the site in any usable form.
While untested browsers are not guaranteed to work, code based on the Gecko engine from Mozilla or KHTML from KDE.org should be fine on all platforms including Linux and Un*x.
Given that the code is also tested on Mac using Safari & Shiira it should also play the same on KHTML/Web Kit browsers too. Very old and discontinued browsers will almost certainly fail before they even make it this far.
The code strives towards the strictest W3C XHTML standard (and much of it already is). The Javascript is polished using JSLint by Douglas Crockford.
No one is perfect, so if you think you`ve found a bug, and have the time, please send us a bug report including the OS and browser you were using and what you were doing when the problem occurred. We appreciate any feedback in making our library the best in the business.
